We have a softball team that is part of the Inter-Church Slow Pitch Softball League. Our games are on Tuesday nights at different locations in the area and are usually double headers. Softball is a great way to fellowship with other churches in the area, in a fun yet competitive environment.
The men at Church of Redemption have a monthly meeting. It is either held at night, or in the morning for breakfast. This is a great time for fellowship, testimonies, and prayer for men within the church. This is also a great time for new believers to grow in their spiritual walk.
The women at Church of Redemption have a monthly meeting. Each time and day varies, but it is posted on the events calendar. This is a great time for fellowship, testimonies, and prayer for women within the church. This is also a great time for new believers to grow in their spiritual walk.
The Bible is our Bread of Life. At times it can be difficult to understand what we are reading. At our bible studies, we meet with fellow believers and break verses down to understand how it can be applied to us today. Check the calendar to see the weekly locations and times for Sunday School.
Overcomers’ Group meets twice a month on Tuesday nights in the fellowship hall in the basement. We deal with people who are struggling and battling with addictions. This is a time to hear how others are and have overcome their addictions through the power of Jesus Christ as well as the testimony of others. Group leaders are Connie Olko and Gary Hicks (both overcomers themselves).
There is no Wednesday Night Prayer meetings during the summer, but stay tuned for the fall times! Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
